Thinking of Pink

Welcome to the wonderful Poppystamps and Twinery Joint Blog Hop! If you’re joining me from Tobi Crawford’s blog: http://tobicrawford.blogspot.ca/ then you’ve come to the right place!

Our little Poppystamps kitty sees two things he LOVES – -soft, bright twine, and pretty pink blooms! The open weave twine flowers seem to go so well with the lovely leaves and butterflies from the Poppystamps collection. The colorful twine blooms add the perfect finishing touch!

The lovely baker’s twine flowers were created with Marigold Stripe, Pink Sorbet, Pink Sorbet Stripe and Orchid Stripe, all from The Twinery. You can see their colorful collection at The Twinery Shop at http://shop.thetwinery.com/ and you may even be one of our lucky friends to win a special prize!

Visit the Poppystamps team at https://www.poppystamps.com/ for your chance to win the Frozen Flakes and Elsa Butterfly Branch dies, a $26.50 retail value. Visit both blogs to find out how to enter to win!

Your next stop is over to Anita Mulcahey’s blog at http://happypapercrafthappenings.blogspot.com/. If you find yourself distracted by the colorful creations, like our feline friend here, then here’s a list to help you find your way. Just follow the twine trail!

  1. I found a pictorial instruction sheet on the internet, and used a small cardboard circle with large sewing pins stuck in it like a clock. After a few (or more) practice attempts, I was able to create these pretty blooms.

  2. Beautiful. The different ways the flowers were presented – stamped and with the twine.
The butterflies that are so delicate and ready to fly off the card and the little cat at the bottom looking to see if he can touch something – all make a wonderful card
