Today I am sharing with you a project I created with old and new Poppystamps favorites, all available from the Poppystamps website. You can be inspired by a new project every day by checking out the Poppystamps blog at http://poppystamps.typepad.com/

Warm Thoughts

Warm Thoughts of Home reminds me of that great time of year when the days get short, the evenings turn cool, and there’s always a bright and cozy house or two when you turn down your street at the end of the day. To create this look in your warm and cozy home, start with your favorite autumn background paper, then add four wonderful Poppystamps dies that fit so well together: Brevilla Houses, Viva Tree, Country Fence, and from the newest release, Maple Leaf Border.

You can use all of the Brevilla Houses, or add three or four of your favorite by cutting the houses apart. I like to use yellow glitter paper behind the cut to look like the lights are glowing from the windows. I also used a pinkish cherry red glitter paper for the blowing maple leaves above. I thought they were a vivid and colorful contrast to the black in both the patterned paper and the trees.

Enjoy your warm crafting days ahead, and hop on over to your next blog stop from Yoonsun Hur.

Be sure to leave a comment on every stop to increase your chances of winning one of two great hidden Poppystamps dies: Leaf Silhouette and Thank You Background.

Live your life in color!

      Jenny,
I’m sorry to hear that you were having a problem leaving a comment. I haven’t heard that from anyone else who is also following or checking on the blog progress today. I see you finally were able to leave a comment, so I’m glad. But, could you be more specific in what the earlier problem was and I’ll try to see if I can fix it? I would appreciate that, thanks!

Your cards are gorgeous. You must be a very patient person because the card looks so involved but so pretty. The dies are great. Thank you for sharing.

The colors used are not the normal autumn gold and orange but are very striking. This card does promote the feeling of autumn on a windy day as evening comes.
