I found this adorable little bird die in a craft store this summer, and knew he would be a great addition to my Christmas card line-up! Today, I’ve made him into a glittery partridge for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Bring on the Bling! All the little pears, berries, leaves, branch and the bird were all made with glitter paper, which looks dazzling, but can be a real challenge to work with on occasion. But I think this little blingy bird looks so sweet!
I used the Chickadee Dimensional by Dee’s Distinctively, Swirly Tree by Memory Box, and tiny shape punchers for the pears and leaves. The white background piece is an embossed woodgrain pattern from Tim Holtz Alterations for Sizzix.
Perhaps this little partridge will wind up on your door on the first day of Christmas!
