Our Daily Bread Design Blog Challenge #225

I am always searching the blogosphere for interesting and unique challenges for fun and inspiration. This week, I discovered Our Daily Bread, and I just love their sentiments! Hopefully, I’ll soon have a chance to use a few sentiments in upcoming sketch and color challenges – they are so uplifting! Today’s project was inspired by this week’s color challenge, and the pretty peachy palette.

I tried to use ALL six colors from the palette! The eggshell white was used in the Grand Gothic Iron Work and Grand Gothic Window, from Poppystamps. The pale coral was used for the Savannah Border from Memory Box. The pretty peach was used for the Small Hydrangea Blooms from Poppystamps. The brown was used for the Frisky Squirrels, from Poppystamps. The sweet mint can be seen in the second Savannah Border. Finally, the beige is in the embossed brick wall from the Tim Holtz collection. You can play along with the ODBDSLC25 challenge here: http://ourdailybreaddesignsblog.blogspot.com/2015/02/odbdslc225-color-challenge.html

Thanks for stopping by today!

Live your life in color!
