I searched the world to find this beautiful vintage image of a bird in a cherry tree. I love the soft tones and shading of the cherries, and the yellows and greens it pulls in for the background. Of course, I love birds on cards more than just about anything else! I added a few sparkly sequins and a few embellishments and die cuts to turn it into something special!

Card Recipe:

Free printable artwork, found online

Tag Me, Reverse Confetti

All About the Love, Memory Box Open Studio

A Cherry On Top, Poppystamps

Tiny clothespin, red & white twine, paper cherry blossoms, all from my secret stash

Hi folks! Some of you have been asking about the vintage image of the bird on the branch. I found the image by doing a Bing search on the phrase “Vintage Bird and Cherries Free” and it was one of many really beautiful vintage bird images you can simply print out for free. After I selected the image, I played around with the size until I got what I wanted, then printed, cropped and mounted it to my card stock. There are many sites that offer images like this pretty bird available for crafters to use for free for their personal use. I’d love to see what projects YOU make when you find your perfect fit!
