Have you seen a Pocket Letter? I have only recently discovered the craze from Nicole’s blog, The Paper Baker, right here: https://thepaperbaker.wordpress.com/ and decided to try to make one for myself. This is my very first pocket letter EVER and it’s on its way to California. I had agreed to swap pocket letters with an autumn theme, and when I received mine, my swap mate told me she had made a “California Autumn” theme and I thought I would do the same. I tried to capture some of my favorite things I love about California!
Pocket Letters are a hot new trend and there are tons of information about it on You Tube, Pinterest and Instagram. I have a few more planned for October, and then there’s Christmas! Better get out my tiny dies!
Thanks for joining me today!

OMG!! I LOVE THIS!! I’m not sure that I completely understand what a pocket letter is … and what the recipient uses it for, but I would love to give this a try!! 🙂
I hope you do make more for the fall and Christmas holidays. I could sure use the AWESOME inspiration!!

Thanks, Judy! A great place to learn about pocket letters is from Nicole’s blog, The Paper Baker, who has created some of my favorites. Another great resource is the website Pocket Letter Pals. In a nutshell, it’s nine little pockets that you fill with tiny crafty cards in the front, and little crafty treats or embellishments or goodies in the back, and then “swap” with a partner, or give as a gift. It’s a lot of fun! I hope you give it a try!

This is so cute!! I have not seen this before. I have to try this now!! I really like your bear pocket. Is it a die or did you make him yourself??

The bear head is an older die from QuicKutz, and the bear body I make myself from a circle die.
