Fusion Card Challenge

It’s time for another challenge over at Fusion! This one s a fun one – -look at that great purple and orange color! Get all the details and play along right here: http://fusioncardchallenge.blogspot.com/2015/10/fusion-challenge-purple-poppies.html

I have a special place in my heart for those California orange poppies! My fiance and I took a trip to San Francisco to see the sights and meet some of his family. We took a boat cruise of the bay and learned all about the Golden Gate bridge and how the color reflects the California poppy. My future family offered to take us out to a special dinner and we said we had always wanted to try a famous California eatery we had heard so much about, In and Out Burger! They loved that idea too! They took us on a California cruise over the Golden Gate Bridge, through Sausalito, Mill Valley, over the Bay Bridge, all the way down to Alameda and Castro Valley. We stopped at In and Out Burger, and saw the giant windmills and fields full of orange poppies near the hills of Alameda. We were there for only a week, visiting all the famous San Francisco hot spots, but I know I could stay a lifetime.

My fusion card is a salute to Northern California, fusing elements of the poppies, the purple, and the sketch.

Thanks for joining me today!

Live your life in color!

Michele, what a pretty card!! I love the poppy die and your fab colors!! Your description of San Francisco brought back memories of my own trips there. It is a beautiful place to visit. The orange poppy is actually the California state flower and has always been a favorite of mine. Thanks for sharing both your trip and your pretty card!! Thanks for playing along with the Fusion Card Challenge!
