Hello and welcome! Today is all about the tag! Throughout the day, I will be posting a collection of tags I created for the gifts for my friends and family this holiday season, inspired by the tags from the 25 Days of Christmas Tags with Tracey NcNeely. You can get all the details and link up your own beautiful holiday tags right here: http://inmycreativeopinion.blogspot.com/2015/11/25-days-of-christmas-tags-main-post-and.html
To play along with the 25 Days of Christmas Tags, you must select a tag featured on the blog, and use it as inspiration for a new tag. Very clever, yes? So my first tag has been inspired by Amy Kolling, representing Reverse Confetti.
I love Amy’s pretty shaker tag, and that gorgeous wreath die she used as well. While I love creating tags that are out of this world, with loads of elements and shaker beads and tons of glitter, the tags I use for holiday gifts need to pack a punch in a different way. They need to packed, stacked, tied down, and toted off, in the trunk of my car as we drive cross country to the frozen tundra of the North woods to celebrate Christmas with my family.
I was inspired by the pretty blues and greens of Amy’s tag, and turned the shaker goodies into tiny red pearls on the wreath. That pop of pink just screams JOY to me too!
Thanks for joining me today! Look for more tags throughout the day!
