What a great way to close out 2015 at Tag You’re It! I love this challenging challenge from Donna Peachy. I have never really worked with painted or embossed acetate before, and I expected a big mess! But a new year is all about trying new things, right? There’s still a little bit of time left for you to get your design inspiration in right here: http://tagyoureitchallenge.blogspot.com/2015/12/tag-youre-it-challenge-37.html
I used white embossing paste right on the acetate tag to create these little white dots in the background. Originally I was going to add a winter poinsettia, but really wanted the pink cherry blossoms instead. The white dots remind me of all the flowers and bits of nature falling from the sky in the springtime, or even a late spring snow. Either way, I like the result.
Thanks for joining me today!
Live your life in color!
The kitties say this one is pretty cool.

I love how it turned out, too: beautiful! And I love the little birdies. You inspired me to buy Delightful Tree from Spellbinders just for those little darlings. 🙂
