12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist: Day 2

Hello Everyone!

Today I am sharing my tag that I created for Day 2 of the 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist! You can get all the details, find great inspiration and ideas, and win some fabulous prizes over at the Ellen Hutson In the Classroom blog right here: http://ellenhutson.typepad.com/the_classroom_new/

Today’s theme is glitter, so I brought out the sparkle and the shine! My tag was inspired by Julia Stainton, from Day 2. Here is Julia’s original, pretty tag:

There were so many elements that I loved about Julia’s tag, and I wanted to case them on my own project. Of course, glittery brown deer, snowflakes, pine twigs, joy, and the soft color palette. This is the second version of this tag. The first tag had a big round circle on it, instead of this pretty Poppystamps Home for the Holidays wreath, and it looked like the deer were right in the center of a target. NOT the look I wanted for Christmas! So I changed the circle to a pretty wreath, and made a new base tag with a soft watercolor splash.

Thank you so much for joining me today!

Live your life in color!

Wow! Love all the energy in your tag design. Those glittery leaping deer and the bright pink wreath are so fun. You took Julia’s tag and kicked it up ten notches!
