Poppystamps and Buttons Galore Blog Hop and Giveaway!

Hello Everybody!

We have got something really exciting for you today! Poppystamps and Buttons Galore have teamed up to bring you an amazing end of September Blog Hop!  Our design teams are featuring beautiful projects made with Poppystamps dies and stamps, and sprinkled with Buttons Galore goodies, like sparkling sequins mixes and 3D buttons!  Be sure to hop along with us and leave comments along the way! Poppystamps is giving away TWO $20 gift certificates! You have until October 1st to leave a comment, and winners will be announced on the Poppystamps Blog Oct.2.

If you have arrived from the Poppystamps Blog, then you’re in the right place! You can always begin at the beginning over at the Poppystamps Blog right here: Poppystamps Blog   http://poppystamps.typepad.com/

For my first card, I used some of my favorite Poppystamps dies from our Fall and Holiday releases to create this woodland layered shaker.  The first layer is the card base, followed by a white glitter panel that has been cut with the Pine Cone Branch Collage, with glitter paper inserted behind the pine cone and needles. Then I added the clear acetate panel, with a glittery Swaying Birch on top. On top of that is the Pine Needle Clearing and the Pointed Rectangle Frame. The Curious Fawn, Stitched Maple Trio, and a few sequins finish off this frosty fall card.

Speaking of sequins, did you see this beautiful mix from Buttons Galore? It’s called Through the Woods, and it’s such a pretty mix of tiny woodgrain sequins, browns, and forest greens. I love the way large shakers sound when filled with sequins! When you shake the sequins all the way down to the bottom, the shimmery pine cone is revealed. Surprise!

For my second card, I brought out a little bling! I cut the Ball Wreath on crisp white card stock, adding red foil behind it, and added a shiny green bow and sparkle. Then I added the Buttons Galore Old Fashioned Lights on a piece of black cord, and a few sequins from Deck the Halls! I love that sparkle and shine!

You can find more great inspiration and ideas on every stop along the hop! Next up is May Flaum: http://mayflaum.com/

Here’s the complete hop list! Be sure to leave a comment on my blog, and on every stop along the way for your chance to win!

These are just adorable Michele! Love the little woodland shaker card with the sequins and especially like the shading and chalking on the fawn. Those Christmas lights on your second card really take it to the next level!

What a great way to hit off a blog hop with two fantastic cards! I really love how versatile the wreath die is and that curious fawn is just too cute in its forest scene plus all the sequins and lights just add to the magic!

Nice concept for shaker and 3-D cards. Chibi lights would be nice “hidden” under the actual Christmas lights. Great interactive cards to entertain a little one on a road trip.
