25 Days of Tags

Hello Everyone!

Can you believe we’re down to the last week of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags? I’ve seen so many wonderful tags all month, and now have a boatload of inspiration and ideas for my own holiday presents and tags! You can get all the details and link up your holiday tag over at Tracey’s blog right here: https://inmycreativeopinion.blogspot.com/2017/11/the-25-days-of-christmas-tags-main-post.html

Today’s glittery tag is so sparkly and shiny, it just feels like Christmas! I used glittery paper and gold thread to capture the festive feel of a tag created on Day 19, by Daniela Dobson, from Technique Tuesday.

The scalloped edge of Daniela’s tag reminded me of a notebook page, and that little sprig of holly is so festive!

25 Days of Christmas Tags

Hello Everybody!

Today, I am playing along with the 25 Days of Christmas Tags, and I have a fun one! Take a look!

You can get all the details and link up your holiday tag over at Tracey’s blog right here: https://inmycreativeopinion.blogspot.com/2017/11/the-25-days-of-christmas-tags-main-post.html

My tag was inspired by Brianna Loeffelbein, from Avery Elle, on Day 18. I love those big, bright Christmas flowers and the fun square shape. Even though I didn’t have poinsettia stamps, I had these bold striped flowers and leaves and thought I’d give them a try.

25 Days of Christmas Tags

Have you been enjoying the 25 Days of Christmas Tags as much I have? I love seeing so many great ideas every single day. It’s harder and harder to choose a tag that inspires me, because they ALL do!  You can take a look at the growing collection of tags and link up your holiday tag over at Tracey’s Blog right here: https://inmycreativeopinion.blogspot.com/2017/11/the-25-days-of-christmas-tags-main-post.html

Today’s tag was inspired by Stephanie Klauk, from Muse, on Day 15. Stephanie made this adorable tag with the little raccoon at the mailbox on a snowy day! It reminds me of all the Christmas cards I’ll be sending to my family back in my home state of Wisconsin. There’s ALWAYS snow for the holidays!

I used a combination of stamps to create my little kitty in the mailbox on a snowy day! The kitty is from Newton’s Nook, the text from Poppystamps, and that gorgeous layered ink tree is from Birchpress Designs! I had so much creating this tag, and adding tiny little snowflakes with a white Signo uni-ball pen!

The Card Concept #82: Retro Holiday

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to The Card Concept Challenge #82, Retro Holiday! We have got a beautiful inspirational photo for you this week, filled with shiny retro ornaments and glossy colors from our childhood! You can get all the details and link up your Retro Holiday project over at The Card Concept Blog right here: http://thecardconcept.blogspot.com/

I love the metallic shine and the pretty color palette of this retro wreath! I’d love to create one of these myself from old holiday ornaments. I found my inspiration in just one ornament, shiny and pink and very merry! I used shiny foil papers to create an elegant Clean and Layered card that will slip easily into an envelope with a nice gift card too!

25 Days of Christmas Tags

Hello Everyone!

I had SO much fun making these teeny tiny tags today, to play along with the 25 Days of Christmas Tags! You can get all the details and link up your holiday tags over at Tracey McNeeley’s Blog right here: https://inmycreativeopinion.blogspot.com/2017/11/the-25-days-of-christmas-tags-main-post.html

Today’s tag was inspired by Christy, from Lawn Fawn, on Day 12. Christy created four tiny snowman tags, and they quite a cute quartet!

My little group of snow people are ready for colder weather, all dressed to face the elements! Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow! Together we’ll create a blizzard!

25 Days of Christmas Tags

Hello Everyone!

I had a little time this morning to create an easy breezy tag duo, inspired by Shay, from Winnie & Walter, Day 10. You can get all the details and link up your own holiday tag creation over at Tracey McNeeley’s Blog right here: https://inmycreativeopinion.blogspot.com/2017/11/the-25-days-of-christmas-tags-main-post.html

There is so much to love about Shay’s tag! I love the unusual hexagon shape, which reminds me of a Christmas ornament! The sentiments and the little touch of glitter make it feel really fresh and festive too!

I made my tags SUPER CAS with just the word Believe in glitzy letters. When I first die cut the letters, I had originally thought I would have the white letters on top, and the glitzy paper underneath. But then I thought they were much more striking done with glittery paper on top, and shiny gold and silver strings.

VERY easy breezy, which is what I’m all in to right now! I have a tiny stamp of a silhouette of Santa and his reindeer flying through the air in his sled that I might experiment with and see how it looks. Merry and bright, just like Christmas!
