I just LOVE hot chocolate, so when I saw this stamp set from Newton’s Nook, I just HAD to have it! It features two of my very favorite things in all the world, hot chocolate and kitties!

I try to prepare a coffee themed card or two so I will be ready to celebrate the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop from the very first day, and then post every day! So, as you can see, I have missed a few days. Sadly, I had a very sick little kitty that kept me very busy about a week or so before the hop. On early Friday morning, my sweet 17 year old Felix slipped away and crossed over the rainbow bridge. This is the first card I’ve made since Friday, and of course, I knew it needed to feature a kitty.

Felix spent all his time with me, especially when I was at my computer. He would flop down on top of my keyboard, and I would keep moving it around and working around him, and he would curl up and soak up the sun. usually we could find a nice compromise. He would sleep on my right arm, allowing me to still click the mouse with my right hand, and type with my left. Goodbye sweet Felix, I will never forget you!
