Hello Everyone!
It’s time for a brand new challenge over at Poppystamps this month, Clean and Simple! You can get all the details and link up your CAS sensation over at the Poppystamps blog right here: http://poppystamps.typepad.com/
A Clean and Simple, or “CAS” card is so versatile, it can include a lot of elements. It can be one layer, one color, a lot of white space, minimum number of dies, one focal point, one stamped sentiment, or no stamped sentiments! It ALL fits and it ALL looks beautiful! It also can be CAS and BOLD too! Show us YOUR idea of a Clean and Simple card and your project could be randomly selected to win a brand new prize from Poppystamps!
I used two dies from our latest release, Elegant Koi and Woven Circle Ring to create this CAS style card. Originally I was just going to use the cut outline of the fish, but I really liked the way the two-toned fins looked against the intricate woven background. Tiny paper piecing can look very clean, but it’s not always so simple! With a little delicate work and a pair of tweezers, you can create a design that looks beautifully clean and deceptively simple too!
Thanks so much for joining us today!
Oh my, this is stunningly beautiful. Just had to hop over and say that. Hugz
