12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist

Hello Everyone!

Our tag blitz continues with our very next tag, from December 4, Embossing! There is still time to link up your tags and play along over on Ellen Hutson’s blog right here: https://blog.ellenhutson.com/2018/12/01/12-tag-of-christmas-with-a-feminine-twist-2018-challenge-and-welcome/

I was inspired by Michele Ferguson’s tag, with the delicate embossed laves in the soft shades of pink.

For my own tag, I also used a pretty pink and white color palette, and embossed the leaves and petals of the poinsettia in silver embossing powder, then heated with an embossing gun.

Once that was dry, I painted the flowers and leaves with watercolors, and I think I found a new love!  This technique is amazing, and fun too! I painted the petals in very simple pinks, then die cut the flowers. This set is from the Poppystamps holiday release, Poinsettia Delights!

Thanks so much for joining us today!

Live your life in color!
