Let it Snow with Fusion

Hello Crafty Friends!

I am SO happy to be playing along with one of my favorite creative challenges, Fusion! In 2019, I started a brand new job! I work for an organization that is dedicated to helping all youth, especially those that need us the most, to become caring, productive, responsible citizens. It is not easy, but it is so rewarding. The kids keep me busy after school, and keep me exhausted after work! But one of MY goals for 2020 is to get back to crafting as much as I’d like, and find the perfect balance between crafty life and working life! So I am starting that with the very first Fusion challenge of 2020, Winter! Take a look!

You can play along with the Fusion challenge, and enter your beautiful Winter inspired creation over at the Fusion blog right here: https://fusioncardchallenge.blogspot.com/2020/01/fusion-winter.html

I took my inspiration from the photo. I love the black and white color palette, the tiny winter cabin, and the single word at the top, Winter. I grew up in Wisconsin, our house way out in the country, surrounded by tall pines and snow all winter long! I never liked the cold, but I did love waking up on those cold Winter mornings and seeing everything covered in a blanket of white! Tiny animal tracks would crisscross over the front yard, and even the tiniest speck of color would catch your eye. That has always been my idea of Winter.

Thank you so much for joining me today!

Live your life in color!

Such a beautiful color palette and I love how you created depth and dimension with your die cuts, Michele! I also love your CAS design on this card! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Fusion!
I think it’s wonderful that you are working with youth, and I hope you are able to find the balance between work and ‘play’!
