Happy 6th Anniversary Paper Sweeties

Happy Anniversary, Paper Sweeties! This month, Paper Sweeties is celebrating six great years and we all want YOU to be a part! All month long, you will find inspiration, giveaways, sales, and guest designers!

During this month, Paper Sweeties is having a birthday challenge, based on this inspiration!

The winner will receive a $100 shopping spree to the Paper Sweeties website. Voting is turned on for viewers to ‘like’ their favorites so the public can choose who wins! It also includes a coupon for 20% off any full-price products at Paper Sweeties!

 

I loved being a part of the Paper Sweeties family, and using Debbie’s whimsical stamps to create bright and colorful CAS cards, perfect for copic markers or watercolor pens. Other designers worked with ribbons and fabric, or  layers of embellishments and textures, to create beautiful cards, projects, and planner pages, all reflecting Debbie’s unique designs. All through August, you can see a collection of cards and styles from current and past design team members who all wanted to wish Debbie and Paper Sweeties a very Happy 6th Anniversary! Hello Everybody!

Welcome to the Paper Sweeties November Challenge! We have got a great inspiration photo for you this month that will put you in a warn, fall mood! November is the perfect time to count our blessings, and I know that I am very blessed to be the mommy of a fur baby! Our pets hold a special place place in out hearts, and we are all very lucky indeed when a dog or cat chooses US to love!

I used a few Paper Sweeties stamp sets to create this tiny puppy in the tea cup! The little dog is from Sweeties Pets, the cup is from Eat Cake, the pumpkin and flower is from Thankful, and the tiny leaves are from the Planner Series: Fall Sentiments!

Tag You’re It Challenge #75

Hello Everybody!

Today I am playing along with the TYIC Challenge #75. Featured Artist Marcia Hill has created such a pretty scene to welcome in Autumn. I brought out my copic markers and a few Paper Sweeties stamps to create an Autumn Blessings tag. I had created a card with a similar design for the Paper Sweeties Blog, and always thought it would look pretty on a tag. I added a few highlights with some glitter and glue, to remind me of the frosty mornings ahead for most of us!

This particular Autumn season has been difficult. My hubbie got downsized in August, and we have been busy setting up a lot of Google Hang Outs and traveling for interviews, mostly in Florida where we would like to relocate. We try to remain positive while the process takes so long to complete. Of course, it’s stressful, and full of worries about the future, our security, and how to get to where we want to be. I appreciate the thoughts and prayers, and especially the very sweet cards and notes that I have received from a few crafty friends. That’s one of the things that I am most grateful about this fall! Keep those fingers crossed, those prayers coming, and love in your heart!

The top photo is a little dark, due to the long shadows and fading afternoon light of Autumn.  I used a few of my favorite Paper Sweeties stamps to create an Autumn arrangement, then added a little bit of glittery color to imitate a little sparkly frost on an October morning.

Have you seen this fun trend of decorating the outside of your plain white envelopes with stamped designs? As soon as I saw the new September release, I couldn’t wait to try this out for myself. There are so many adorable images to mix and match! Take a look at today’s envelope!

I used a big white envelope and stamped a combination of designs from Sent From My Heart, Love You to Pieces, and I Love Summer! There’s plenty of room to write the address, and this little doggie at the mailbox is so sweet! To create the image, I used a masking technique to make the envelope as falat as possible, and lightly colored the design with copics.
