I created this card for my Dad, and it fits him so well! I used my new I Spy die from Cheery Lynn that I just got from Serendipity! I added a little white pearlescent watercolor on the lenses to give them a little dimension and look like glass. I think he’ll love it!

Serendipity Stamps Challenge #50

Serendipity Stamps has a perfect challenge this month, Tag It! Perfect for me, because I have been working on a lot of tags these past few days, as I get ready for my big holiday wrap party. Every year, I wrap all the presents on the same day, and set up a card table loaded with my materials, wrapping paper, tape, glue, a box of bows, pens, markers, scissors, lots of boxes I have collected, and I enter . . .  The Wrap Zone! This tag will be there too, one of my favorites.

Serendipity Stamps Challenge #45: Monochrome

SSCB%2345+copy

Serendipity Stamps is sponsoring a fun challenge this month, monochrome! As much as I love monochrome cards, I very rarely make them with a gradation of a single color. I like to make cards that are all white with a single splash of color, a bright little pop somewhere. So, I thought I would try something new, which is one of the fabulous things I love about crafting – there is ALWAYS something new to try! You can get more details and play along with Serendipity Stamps right here: http://serendipitystampschallengeblog.blogspot.com/2015/07/sscb45-monochrome.html

Up, Up & Away with a monochrome sky blue balloon! I created the balloon with the Ornament die from Serendipity Stamps! I had to force myself to stop with just the shades of blue, and not add a pretty red bird or a bright yellow sun up in the corner, but I did stay true to the challenge! It’s blue skies ahead!

I used my favorite three Serendipity dies to create this smart little owl: Owl Detail and Outline dies, and the Ornament. This is my way of saying that “My Girl” today can follow so many wonderful paths, especially when she’s smart and educated. Way to go, girls!

You won’t miss a single post from this smart girl when you sign up to follow Crimson Owl Creations! Once we reach 400 followers there will be a special grand prize giveaway with an amazing prize! There will be more details to follow later this month, so sign up, follow along, and get your friends to follow too! You might be a winner!

I used a few brand new products for my monogram! The pretty yellow Art Deco Roses are from Poppystamps. The intricate blue medallion piece is from Serendipty Stamps! I recently ordered the Ornament Die and used that as the centerpiece for my Monogram! I love the effect!
