Working on the Weekend

Hello Everyone!

The weekend is here, and these little chicks are getting to work, getting ready for Easter! I wish they would come and work in my yard! We have been having spring storms all week long and the yard is a mess, but a beautiful shade of green!

Since these little chicks are such hard workers, I am entering them in two challenges!

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge 401

Fusion Challenge

I was really inspired by the yellow and pinks in the wooden flower box in the inspiration challenge photo from Fusion. It feels like Easter in so many ways!

Sunny Birthday

Did you hear about this week’s Wednesday challenge over at Simon Says Stamp? Everybody is playing along! You can too right here:

Sunny Birthday-wm

The theme is Happy Birthday! Do you remember the very first birthday card you made for someone? I do not, but it was most likely for my sister, who’s birthday is right before Christmas. Usually the cards I make for her have snowflakes and poinsettias and polar bears on them, so I really love having a chance to make a birthday card with bright summer colors. I think she might like this one, even though it doesn’t have a snowflake on it.

Thanks for joining me today.

The Challenge: Anything Goes

I just love “Anything Goes” challenges because it gives me a great opportunity to combine so many elements that I love, like pretty patterned paper, or combined die cuts from all my favorite companies. I just love working with intricate die cuts, and I don’t mind taking a long time to assemble a lot of tiny pieces, usually with a pair of craft tweezers! I also get to focus on my favorite themes too, which usually involve lush, organic, natural designs, or urban skylines and landscapes. Anything Goes challenges also give us a great forum to show our own unique styles, and I LOVE seeing all the inspiration from my favorite designers in one place! Now I can do all of that right here on The challenge, sponsored by Always Playing With Paper Blog:

I created this card with a few of my favorite Poppystamps dies from their latest release: Garden Bouquet, Woodland Oval, and Serendipity Bird Frame. They all work so well together!
