Poppystamps 2016 Holiday Blog Blitz!

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to the new Poppystamps 2016 Holiday Blog Blitz! For the next two weeks,  Poppystamps will be showing you the newest products and giving away a prize on every post through July18 !  You won’t want to miss a thing! Get all the details from the Poppystamps Blog right here:

The new collection is filled with amazing new dies and a few gorgeous stamp sets too, that will take you into the fall and winter seasons! But the very first die that caught my eye is the brand new Downtown Urban Landscape! I’ve got summer on my mind!
Look at this fun urban scene I created with just a few dies! It reminds me of so many shiny American cities in the summertime, which is when I love to travel. This could be Chicago, or Philadelphia, or even New York! I kept it simple today, but I have so many ideas about making each city unique!

You know I love the blog love, but you must enter your comment over on the Poppystamps Blog to be entered to win today’s prize! Here’s a little hint at today’s blog candy!

Sunny Birthday

Did you hear about this week’s Wednesday challenge over at Simon Says Stamp? Everybody is playing along! You can too right here:

Sunny Birthday-wm

The theme is Happy Birthday! Do you remember the very first birthday card you made for someone? I do not, but it was most likely for my sister, who’s birthday is right before Christmas. Usually the cards I make for her have snowflakes and poinsettias and polar bears on them, so I really love having a chance to make a birthday card with bright summer colors. I think she might like this one, even though it doesn’t have a snowflake on it.

Thanks for joining me today.

Fall Fun!

I’ve only been golfing for a few years now – -seven, to be exact, which is how long I have been married. After my future husband proposed, my future father-in-law gave me a beautiful set of pink golf clubs and a matching bag. I thought I would HATE it, but the very first time I stepped onto a golf course I knew it was for me. We try to golf as often as we can, which of course is never enough. My husband’s parents are retired now, and golf all over the United States. I hope they’ll make it to Scotland soon. I made this golf card for them, to celebrate a happy day in their lives that they celebrated by playing golf. Here’s to our fine folks! Many happy days ahead!
