Cool in September

Hello Everyone!

After nearly a month of August travel, I have finally returned home and have slept in my own bed last night! While cool days have started creeping in way Up North, back home here in the South it’s September steamy football weather! Today, I decided to create a cool, clean card for the mhkdesigns August/September challenge. Forever Wave with MHKDesigns

For my second card, I combined elements from Forever Wave and I’ve Been Framed! I like the vintage CAS look on this one too. There is so much you can create with just one or two easy digital elements.

I created a trio of Christmas Greetings with the brand new Stitched Season’s Greetings design. This design would work beautifully for tags too, but I went with cards to get a jump on my growing Christmas card list! Pink makes them feel festive and fun!Stitched Season’s Greetings goes with almost anything! For my next card, I combined Stitched Season’s Greetings with Holly Jolly Christmas!

I just love the Kahlil Gibran quote, and I thought it would go perfectly with my Tree Triptych die cuts from Poppystamps. One of the things I love most about mhkdesigns images is how I can easily use them with my favorite die cuts! I can create beautiful CAS images or lush layers!

Hello, Asha, the sea is calling! And the sea wants to wish YOU a very Happy Birthday! The beautiful shell graphic is from the mhkdesigns set, Serene Seaside!

I painted a “sea”watercolor background and used some very special embellishments for a very special card – tiny pearlescent sea shells! I picked up these tiny treasures off the sugar sand shores of the Gulf Coast!
