By the Sea with The Card Concept

Hello Crafty Friends!

Summer has slowly crept to our doors, bringing all the warm and magical memories of everything we love about summer vacation. For me, summers are always about being By the Sea. This week’s inspiration photo, with it’s pale beach pastels and soft seafoam hues reminded me of collecting shells in jars and long days of endless warm sunshine. That was my inspiration for my Clean and Simple Freestyle Collage card this week. You can find more great ideas and inspiration, and link up your By the Sea creation over on The Card Concept blog right here: https://thecardconcept.blogspot.com

May Flowers with The Card Concept

Hello Friends!

We have a beautiful challenge to kick off the beautiful month of May, May Flowers! Join us for this week’s inspiration challenge, find more great ideas and designs, and link up your May Flowers creation over at The Card Concept blog right here https://thecardconcept.blogspot.com

This is such a beautiful picture, and I was really inspired by this cheerful, pastel color palette. A challenge like this makes me wish I had more bright pastels in my paper stash, but I made it work. I used a favorite layering floral die of mine to create a tumbling floral effect. The embossed lemon yellow background was inspired by the lemons in the vase. It all came together for a charming Clean and Layered spring card.

Now it’s your turn to create something fabulous, and link it up over at The Card Concept. Choose one of our styles or mix and match, and be sure to include the link back to The Card Concept!
