Welcome Back to The Card Concept #106

Hello Friends!

Welcome back to a brand new season with The Card Concept! We are so happy you are joining us today that we are celebrating with a party for Challenge #106, a Pink Party! You can get all the details, link up your Pink Party Creations, and see more ideas and inspiration over on The Card Concept blog right here: http://thecardconcept.blogspot.com

I felt so inspired by our inspiration photo this week! I wanted to capture those big, bright blooms in the vivd shades of pink, so I created this Clean and Layered card. Instead of using black, I selected a very dark navy blue for the circle, which pairs beautifully with those rosy shades. How will you be inspired?

Thanks so much for joining us today!

Fusion Challenge: Christmas Eve Ride

Hello Everyone!

Today I am sharing a card that I have created for the latest challenge over on Fusion, Christmas Eve Ride! You can get all the details, see some great inspiration, and enter your card over on the Fusion blog right here: http://fusioncardchallenge.blogspot.com/2018/12/fusion-christmas-eve-ride.html

I was inspired mostly from the inspiration photo, and fell in love with this unique cityscape design. There is just so much going on in the photo, with little houses, lots of windows, tiny trees,  snow, a big moon, and of course, Santa in the sleigh! I love the contest of a chaotic city, yet it so looks so peaceful and calm! So I created a tiny chaotic city scene, with an alcohol ink background, peacefully waiting for Santa! I just love the idea that Santa comes for just about everybody, from the crowded cities to the expansive countrysides, all over the world!

Thanks so much for joining us today!

12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist

Hello Everybody!

Congratulations! We have made to the end, we have reached tag  number TWELVE in the 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist, sponsored by Ellen Hutson! You can link up YOUR final tag, get more inspiration and ideas, and win some amazing prizes over on Ellen Hutson’s blog right here: https://crimsonowlcreations.wordpress.com/2018/12/16/12-tags-of-christmas-with-a-feminine-twist-12/

Our final tag is CLEAR! I LOVE shaker tags, so of course, I love Lisa’s adorable little gnome shaker in her colorful tag!

I really don’t have a lot of whimsical winter stars with cute characters, so I had to get creative! I was inspired by the stack of colorful gifts, so I made a stack of colorful books, adorned with a Christmas kitty! Cat lovers can certainly relate!

My tiny shaker tag features a sleeping kitty, dreaming about what will be under his tree in the morning!

THANK YOU all so much for joining me in this merry, merry, tag binge!
