25 Days of Christmas: Peace Out

Hello Everybody!

I am so glad you could join us today for the 25 Days of Days of Christmas Tags, sponsored by Tracey McNeeley on her blog, In My Creative Opinion!  You can get all the details and link up your holiday tags over on Tracey’s blog right here: https://inmycreativeopinion.blogspot.com

It’s so easy breezy to play along! Just create a tag inspired by one of the designers from the hop! My round peace tag was inspired by the pretty tag created by Carol Mayne, from Day 11. You can see Carol’s tag right here: http://inmycreativeopinion.blogspot.com/2018/11/the-25-days-of-christmas-tags-2018-day_11.html

I loved Carol’s star shaped tag, and the big bold peace right in the center! So I created my own version of a “star” tag” with a shiny little peace, and an oxide ink background.

Thank you so much for joining me today!

25 Days of Christmas Tags: Alpine Style

Hello Everyone!

Today I am sharing a new tag I created for the 25 Days of Christmas Tags, sponsored by Tracey McNeeley, from In My Creative Opinion. You can get all the details and link up your holiday tags over on Tracey’s blog right here: http://inmycreativeopinion.blogspot.com

I love the round shape of my tag, which features a festive Poppystamps Seed Snowflake Outline from the new release. I love the Alpine style and the color combination too! It was inspired by Kim Heggins from Day 7, found right here: http://inmycreativeopinion.blogspot.com/2018/11/the-25-days-of-christmas-tags-2018-day-7.html

Kim’s tag is so pretty, it was easy to find holiday inspiration! I almost added tiny red ruby jewels to my own tag, like Kim’s, but my goal is create tags that I will actually use on gifts this year! All of my gifts need to be mailed across the country in a big box, so that means flat tags and no bows. I like this tag so much I think I will create a few more in a few different colors!

Thanks so much for joining us today!

Hello Everyone!

Today I have created a cute little Christmas Kitty, getting ready for the holidays!  I was inspired by a sweet little orange kitty from Audrey Tokach, from Day 4, which can be found right here: http://inmycreativeopinion.blogspot.com/2018/11/the-25-days-of-christmas-tags-2018-day-4.html

I made my kitty grey, with a bright orange sweater! The tag and tag toppers are from Reverse Confetti, and the stamp set is from Poppystamps!

Fusion Challenge: Fall Porch

Hello Everybody!

Welcome to my blog, Crimson Owl Creations! Today I am sharing a card I created for this week’s Fusion Challenge, Fall Porch! There were SO MANY beautiful designs from the Fusion design team that accompanied the inspiration photo, that I went “batty” on a bunch of big ideas! But then I fiddled around with more of a CAS look and came up with this colorful idea! I was slightly inspired by the shapes in the sketch, but mostly loved the elements in the inspiration photo, like the bats, (of course) and the lantern and leaves! You can link up your project and play along over at Fusion right here: http://fusioncardchallenge.blogspot.com/2018/10/fusion-fall-porch.html

Thanks so much for joining us today!

25 Days of Christmas Tags

Hello Everybody!

I am SO excited to welcome 25 Days of Christmas Tags, sponsored by Tracey McNeeley on her blog, In My Creative Opinion. Every year, I participate in the 25 Days of Christmas Tags, either with a design team, on my own, or both!  I am so far behind in my holiday production that I haven’t even narrowed down a design for my holiday cards yet! But I can ALWAYS get excited about tags! You can get all the details and link up your holiday tag designs over on Tracey’s blog right here: https://inmycreativeopinion.blogspot.com/2018/10/the-25-days-of-christmas-tags-2018-main.html

The way 25 Days of Christmas Tags works is easy breezy! Just create a tag inspired by a tag posted by one of dozens of designers over the next 25 days! Be sure to mention what day and what designer inspired your tag. My tag today is inspired from Karin Akesdotter’s tag from Day 1, and can be found right here: https://inmycreativeopinion.blogspot.com/2018/11/the-25-days-of-christmas-tags-2018-day-1.html

I love Karin’s cute little fox, and decided to create a fox themed tag too! I love the fox face and the Merry Christmas that extends off the tag!

I hope you have enjoyed my tag today, and will play along in the 25 Days of Christmas Tags!

Thanks so much for joining me today!
