Time Out Challenge #29 – Guest Designer

IMG_1603-wm

Hello everybody!

Today I have some big news to share. I was selected to be this week’s guest designer over at Time Out! Challenge #29 is an “inspired by words challenge,” and the words are: You can’t make a rainbow without a little rain.  I wanted to make the bright and cheerful colors of the rainbow pop out against the shades of gray in the clouds and sky. Being a guest designer is both exciting and a little intimidating too! Will people like my colorful and unique paper layering style? I certainly hope so, since being on the Time Out blog is a huge honor for me! It’s the rainbow on a stormy day!

Today’s card was made entirely with die cuts, paper layering, and a few foam pop dots. I used Puffy Clouds, Petite Umbrella, and A Little Rain, all from Memory Box. The tiny sun is from Carnival Food Cart, from Poppystamps. The beautiful rainbow is from Paper Smooches.

To see more great inspiration from the talented team at Time Out, and to link up your inspired by words project, head over to Time Out right here: http://timeoutchallenges.blogspot.com/

Thanks for joining me today!

Live your life in color!

  1. we are so honoured to have you join us and with such a bright and cheerful card. The design is superb and the layering adds such interest. I especially like how raindrops are negative dies and the clouds pop us-I think it looks like this IRL. Thanks for going our GD x

  4. Michele, would you believe my maiden name begins with an F? It is an unusual Prussian name too, so I was always spelling both my first AND last name to everyone for every thing! Every time I see your name on the blogs I smile!
