Papertrey Ink August Challenge

Papertrey Ink just keeps coming up with these terrific inspiration photos, don’t they? There is just so much wonderful goodness going on in this photo. I took inspiration from the photo in a few different ways. First off, the colors, the yellow, gold, orange, brown, red. That combination always says autumn to me! Autumn, back to school, pencils, doodles, it’s all fun! I wanted to create a very simple, flat card because I am going to send this to a friend of mine with a nice letter. He loves snail mail just as much as I do, and we are continuing our on-going campaign to send the world a letter!

While everybody is going back to school, I just finished a fun online course on The French Revolution! I love history, arts, humanities and always take an online course or two whenever I have a little extra time. Now I am well-versed on King Louis and Robespierre!
