We have a wonderful new challenge over at House of Cards for November! This month, our creative team brings you crafty inspiration for a new technique, the Stamped Punch! Get all the details and link up your creation over at House of Cards right here: http://www.houseofcardschallenge.blogspot.com/
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! This sweet, stamped punch card was inspired by sugar plums! I started out with a white card base, then made a smaller purple front panel, where I punched out a large square shape with the Studio Square Layers, from Memory Box Open Studio. I added the glittery Shaker Square Frame, from Memory Box Open Studio, and added my stamped image behind the frame, and adhered everything in place. I created the stamped image out of a watercolor paper I had painted in shades of pink, and stamped with the Vintage Christmas Words from Memory Box.
The tag is from Tag Me, by Reverse Confetti, punched from another watercolor painted piece. Then I used a few more Memory Box and Poppystams die cuts for the extra glittery details: Curled Ribbons, Holly Leaves and Berries, Fancy Believe, and Christmas Baubles. If you look closely, you can see a silvery stamped and embossed string of beads with tiny punched glitter circles and bright pink pearls on the side. Are you thinking about sugar plums yet?
Take a look at the House of Cards blog this month for lots of great inspiration from our design team, and even a video tutorial and a few surprises along the way!
Thanks for joining me today!
